Different... - Chapter 1

A short story to stimulate my mind to write again~
I will only make it few chapters, maybe 3-5 chapters? dunno yet~

Chapter 1 - The beginning

Things have always been like that…
I wonder…what’s the difference between us and them…
it’s because they are weak, we can bully them? is that it?
there is another way for food, so why harass them when we have what we need?
why?

“Ayline! move away already!” shouted a fox boy “why are you protecting this rabbit, anyways? what’s the point?”. The fox girl standing in front of a small helpless rabbit shacked her head and glared at them.

“I should be asking you what’s the point of bullying him! you don’t need to do that!” she answered angrily.

“You’re so boring! Whatever!” the fox boy and his friends went away. The reason why they didn’t insist because Ayline is pretty scary when they fight with her. She very strong for her age.

Ayline gets closer to the small rabbit who was still shaking in fear and he closed his eyes.

Nothing happened…

he opened his eyes slowly while feeling a soft thing covering him…

He was surprised finding Ayline’s soft fluffy tail over him, with her watching him warmly.

“Don’t worry, I won’t eat you” she smiled “I’ll keep my tail over you until you stop shivering, after all, your mum would be worried if you returned to her looking this scared, right”.

The small rabbit’s eyes sparkled with happiness. He calmed down and unconsciously slept under Ayline’s tail. “How cute…”she chuckled, unaware of a pair of eyes watching her.

“What a strange fellow…”a dusty brown with stitches on his body murmured under a tree not too far away “she always do that, I also really want to know, what’s the point of it”. He sighed and fixed his eyes on her profile. Weirdo is his name in his mind right now.
